Full Moon in Capricorn

Happy almost Full Moon! The Moon is officially full on July 13th at 11:38 a.m., PDT, and happens in the diligent and hardworking sign of Capricorn. If you’re Sagittarius or Gemini rising it’s also in a money house for you! If you’re unsure of your rising sign, grab your birth date, place and time and send it my way so we can get your natal chart cast and give you the inside track to manifesting the life you want!

In case you aren’t familiar with the energy of Full Moons, they are all about finding a balance and letting go/releasing. The Full Moon in the final earth sign of Capricorn invites us to look at the way we are balancing our home life (Moonchild/Cancer) and our work/career life (Capricorn). How are you doing with your focus? Do you feel balanced in your home vs work life? Are you leaning heavier on the “home” or “work” side? I know for me personally, I’ve been really focused on the home front but have been feeling called to bring some attention to my work. You may be feeling like me or perhaps the opposite where you have been spending long hours at work and haven’t given your home or family as much time as you’d like. As a reminder, there’s no “good” vs “bad” or “right” vs “wrong” here, just an invitation to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Working with the lunar cycle is simply a guide to help encourage more perspective and focus for what you want for in your life.

To take this a step further, if you know your rising sign (the sign that was on the Eastern horizon at the time, location and date of your birth) you can also check which house this Buck Moon is activating for you. As a Virgo Rising this moon is triggering my fifth house, also know as “the fun zone”. This house has to do with creativity, flirting, and kids (your own or someone else’s). Personally, I find this very fitting because not only is this moon asking for balance in my home/work life but also shining a light and asking for attention in my creativity zone, which for me, is my career! I love how everything lines up, can you see why I’m passionate about this stuff?!

I have been looking forward to my Full Moon ceremony this evening, I often like to plan where I’m going to be so that I can really gift myself the opportunity to by fully present and engaged. I like to complete my forgiveness ceremony the night before if the moon will hit peak fullness during the daytime. If you’ve never heard of a Full Moon Forgiveness Ceremony, check out the worksheet I created. It will walk you through step-by-step on how to do your own ritual! As I mentioned, I love gifting myself the opportunity to clear out the negative energy and fill myself up with gratitude during this bright lunation! A lot transpires in a month, and I am grateful for the Full Moon in each cycle, knowing I can hand over my negative energy and what is no longer serving my focus, and transmute it into forgiveness and gratitude. These are two HUGE factors in manifesting. This is an ongoing cycle, just like the lunar cycle, and that is why I feel so called to working with the moon. If you also work with the moon, you surely can attest to the beauty of the ongoing cycle, and if you haven’t worked with the moon, I really encourage you to give it a try, it’s so worth it!

I would encourage you to acknowledge any past upsets you may find in your awareness and really reflect on them rather than reaching out right away to try and resolve or readdress the situation. Be gentle with yourself and others during this time. Emotions run high during this part of the lunar cycle, and it’s important to try and find and embrace love and compassion.

Love and Light,

Mysha
