For those of you who know me, you might be wondering how I got on the topic of coffee since I am not a coffee drinker. It's actually a fun story, so fun in fact, I even vlogged about it. I know! I'm sure you're just as excited as I am and Kayla, I know YOU are even more excited than I am (thanks, girl)!
In case you don't want to watch the vlog, I'll recap: My friend wanted to give her daughter's teachers Starbucks gift cards as part of their Christmas gift, and you know me, I'm always trying to craft things up a bit and add to my procrastination list! Plus, I really enjoy designing cut files for the Cricut (One day I'm actually going to sell the designs I make, but today is not that day). Anywho, I told my friend Ashley I would make the gift card holders look like Starbucks cups if she would provide the cup sleeves off of her Starbucks drinks. She's a magnolia blossom (meaning she's sweet and also from the South) so she provided the sleeves the very next day.
Knowing I was going to make cutesy gift card holders, I figured I should vlog, which meant I had to get my act together and not wait until dark to start working or I'd never get the post production completed in order to upload the video. So what to do for my Daily Doodle... duh! Starbucks! That was an easy choice. So, the vlog is about me and my day filled with Starbucks, just not the coffee:)
Another super cool thing about this question today is there is a straight forward answer direct from the source, which makes it an efficient question, and I love efficiency. For example, I'm writing this blog post while my vlog is exporting. Anyway, back to the question/answer. Starbucks was founded in 1971 in Seattle, Washington. And! Fun fact, Starbucks was named after the first mate in the book Moby Dick! Pretty cool right?!
